1. Your copper landline is on a countdown
Carriers are retiring analog POTS lines statewide — prices climb every renewal and repairs get slower. If your Utah shop still runs on copper, switching on your schedule beats switching during an outage.
2. "No contract" tells you everything
Providers confident in their service don't need to lock you in for three years. Ask about contracts first — the answer predicts everything else.
3. Ask where support answers from
When your phones are down on a Tuesday morning, the distance to your provider matters. Ask any carrier: "who answers, and where do they sit?" Then call us and ask the same thing — we like that comparison.
4. Count the à-la-carte fees
Auto-attendants, call queues, recordings — national carriers sell these as add-ons. They should be included. (Ours are.)
5. Make sure it grows Utah-style
Utah businesses expand — second locations, franchise dreams, Silicon Slopes ambitions. Pick a system that scales from one phone to hundreds without a forklift upgrade.
